The 1984 Detroit Tigers had a magical season

Good morning y’all! The 1984 Detroit Tigers had a magical season, culminating in them winning the World Series. The Tigs went 104-58 that year- relief pitcher Willie Hernandez was awarded the Cy Young Award, as well as being named AL MVP- Jack Morris was the ace of the staff, but there were others who were integral cogs in the Tigers rotation that year! Two of those stars are coming to Flint on Saturday, February 1st for HOT STOVE NIGHT at Foutch’s Strike Zone: DAN PETRY and DAVE ROZEMA! Dan was 18-8 for the Tigers in 1984 with a 3.24 ERA (5th in the Cy Young voting, Jack Morris was 7th); Rosey was 7-6 with a 3.74 ERA in 16 starts. Let’s show up to be entertained by Dan and Dave, just like we did for Jim Leyland, Lance Parrish, Kirk Gibson, Jack Morris, and Alan Trammell! Don’t forget this is a fundraiser for the Greater Flint Area Baseball & Softball Association, so they can continue to make improvements to the ball fields at Broome Park and Whaley Park! THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!
