Today, I drove the Tunnel of Trees around the shoreline of Lake Michigan.
 
I started the 22-mile Stretch in Harbor Springs to Cross Village.
 
I didn’t see the Reds, Yellow or Gold leaves but Michigan’s most iconic attraction is a sight to be seen
Year-round.
 
Leaves change colors in the fall because they are getting ready for winter. Tree’s stop producing chlorophyll and that is why they turn colors.
