Good morning y’all! The 5th Annual HOT STOVE NIGHT is in the books! Detroit Tiger Hall of Famer ALAN TRAMMELL entertained the crowd at Foutch’s Strike Zone last night with tales from his great career in baseball: from his boyhood in San Diego, to his first game in the minors teaming up with SWEET LOU WHITAKER, to a World Series ring in ’84, to the Baseball Hall of Fame, to currently mentoring the kids coming up in the Tigers’ farm system! Alan is a class act all the way- he could not have been more gracious, signing autographs and visiting with those in attendance! Here is a photo of Alan and Flint’s own JUDGE JOE FARAH- Alan signed Joe’s Tigers jacket, and then it was auctioned off, with the proceeds going to the Greater Flint Area Baseball & Softball Association! Thanks to the GFABSA and everybody involved on another fantastic event! A special thanks to ROGER AND CHAR FOUTCH for all they do and to RON MYERS for getting all these former Tiger greats to come to Flint! Jim Leyland, Lance Parrish, Kirk Gibson, Jack Morris, and now Alan Trammell- are you kidding me!
